Knit Kit - Restful Lacy Shawl

This alpaca wool knit kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. The shawl is knitted as a flat panel, and you can choose either single pointed needles or circular needles...which can be helpful, just because it's a wide project and circulars hold the kntting easily. This shawl is part of our Restful range, which is intended for stress-free easy knitting that means you can focus on the conversation, the movie or just whatever you need to be thinking about. Each pattern is simple to work with, and has been tested on beginners, rusty knitters, and the very accomplished. Everyone reports that the yarn is fabulous soft and lovely to work with and all the feedback is that the styles are very restful to knit, and lovely to wear!

Size: Standard - 180 cm x 35 cm

Kit includes:

• Cotton alpaca project bag
• 150g (225m per 100g) Gorgeous DK yarn made from 75% alpaca/25% sheep's wool
• Optional - 4.5mm circular, or 4.5mm x 33cm long single pointed needles, and a tapestry needle to sew in the ends
• Pattern for this shawl

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness. The shawl can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
