Knit Kit - Hug Shawl

This alpaca wool knit kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. It's knitted as a flat panel, and you can choose either single pointed needles or circular needles...which can be helpful, just because it's a wide project and circulars hold the knitting easily. It includes three tassles (which of course you can choose not to make/add).

Each pattern is simple to work with, and has been tested on beginners, rusty knitters, and the very accomplished. Everyone reports that the yarn is fabulous soft and lovely to work with and all the feedback is that the styles are very restful to knit, and lovely to wear!

Videos available for all the stitches and the tassles! The shawl knits up wide, so we recommend using circular needles to hold the stitches, but long single pointed needles can be used if you prefer.

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness. The shawl can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
