This headband crochet kit has been created for us by Vibeke at Diving Ducks. With over 70,000 subscribers, Diving Ducks Crochet has a strong following and proven pattern design.
The headband is supported, as all Diving Ducks Crochet videos are, by a How To Video as well as the printed pattern you receive with your kit.
The crochet hook, an optional extra, is 4.5mm and made from natural bamboo wood. They are wonderful to work with and hold
The headband uses lightweight DK alpaca yarn spun from the fleece of alpacas from UK farms. We love this headband, partly because it looks so great, and also because it crochets up so qiuckly.
Size: Adult - adapt to fit any size head
Kit includes:
- Cotton alpaca project bag
- Standard 50g (225m) of Gorgeous DK yarn made from 75% alpaca
- Optional - 4.5mm hook and a tapestry needle to sew in the ends

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to crochet with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness.
The headband can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
