This alpaca wool knit kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. Seen here in Wine and available in a wide range of other alpaca colours. We love this thick textured look, created with simple method of creating the slanted effect of stitches. Once you are wearing it, the slanted stitches create a sprial effect. This cowl is from our Restful range, which is intended for stress-free easy knitting that means you can focus on the conversation, the movie or just whatever you need to be thinking about. Each pattern is simple to work with, and has been tested on beginners, rusty knitters, and the very accomplished. Everyone reports that the yarn is fabulous soft and lovely to work with and all the feedback is that the styles are very restful to knit, and lovely to wear!  

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The British alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness.

As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness. The cowl can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
