This alpaca wool knitting kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms. You can knit it in the round on circular needles or as a flat panel with single pointed needles.
Size: Small - Medium - Large
Kit includes:
- Cotton alpaca project bag
- 100g (225m) Gorgeous DK yarn made from 75% alpaca/25% sheep
- Faux fur pompom
- Optional 4.5mm needles (circular or single pointed) and a tapestry needle
- Pattern for this and two other lightweight hat kits
As with all Gorgeous alpaca DK kits, it's warm and cosy, but lightweight and breathes well. The alpaca yarn has a small amount of 100% natural sheep's wool blended in, which makes it easy to knit with, and still retains that wonderful alpaca softness.
This hat, once knitted up, can be washed by hand or in a machine on a wool wash at 20 degrees.
