This chunky alpaca wool knitting kit uses alpaca yarn from British and Irish farms.It uses single pointed needles and we can include lovely bamboo knitting needles.So, the pattern looks complicated, but it's not! Whilst not difficult, both back and front will keep you interested, and the end result is so lovely with super-soft alpca chunky yarn.

 Size: 41 x 41 cm (cushion pad to fit as also available as an extra item)

The two patterns are: 

  • Front - Offset tiles, which involve slipping stitches, knit and purl
  • Back - Knit, purl, buttonholes (How To Video on our website if you are nervous about buttonholes)
  • Colours - the Main Colour is for the back and buttonhole flap (250g) and the contrast colour is for the Front Tiles (100g) shown here in Off White and Saxifrage

Supplied with:

  • Cotton alpaca project bag
  • 350g (350m) Gorgeous Chunky yarn made from 75% alpaca / 25% sheep
  • 5cm buttons x 5
  • Optional: 6mm needles, and tapstry needle
  • Optional: European duck feather cushion pad (41 x 41cm) 
  • Pattern

Washable at 20 degrees C in a machine wool wash
